Marc Summers is best known for hosting Nicklodeon's Double Dare and the Food Network's Unwrapped. Now, his life and experiences have been captured in a one-man show starring himself. The show involves much more than just sitting and listening to him recount his life story. It is more like being totally immersed in his life. However, to get more specific about it would spoil the fun of the many happy surprises that permeate the show.
If you grew up on Double Dare, you will really enjoy this nostalgic show. Even if you didn't, the show is such a joyous delight that truly anyone can enjoy it. If you're more of an Unwrapped fan, you may be slightly disappointed. That show definitely isn't covered as much as the other, and in fact, is mostly glossed over. However. if you arrive at the theater early enough, you will get to see clips of that show (as well as clips from Double Dare) that run before the start of this show. All in all, whether the show is nostalgic to you or you are completely unfamiliar with Marc Summers and his television history, this show is just a rip-roaring exuberantly good time.
