I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Enchanting Imagination: The Objets d’Art of André Chervin and Carvin French Jewelers

We were given complimentary tickets to the New York Historical Society for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Enchanting Imagination:
The Objets d’Art of André Chervin and Carvin French Jewelers

Where: New York Historical Society
             170 Central Park W.
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

When: Through January 25, 2025

Andre Chervin is a third-generation jeweler. In 1954, he and fellow French-trained jeweler, Serge Carponcy joined forces to form Carvin French Jewelers. The pieces currently on display at the New York Historical Society include some pieces of Carvin French Jewelers but the majority of the objects on display are Chervin's own creations. It was his passion in life to create a unique collection of Objet's d'Art many of which are on display in the exhibit. They include jewelry, boudoir lamps, clocks, and more. Specific objects on display include a Bonsai ornament tree, a Butterfly brooch made of yellow diamonds, a precious bouquet of jewels, and a boudoir lamp made up of an 18-karat gold wheelbarrow with a large jeweled heart on top of it.   You won't want to miss this gorgeous colorful display of exquisite objects.

And that's our view. For more information about The Objets d’Art of André Chervin and Carvin French Jewelers or to purchase tickets to the New York Historical Society to visit the exhibit, go to www.nyhistory.org/exhibitions/enchanting-imagination-french-jewelers

Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
