I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Broadway Tour with Prudence Wright Holmes

We were given a complimentary tour with Prudence Wright Holmes for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Broadway Tour with Prudence Wright Holmes

Where: Meets at Duffy Square
             W. 46th St.
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

Me - Our Broadway Tour with Prudence Wright Holme was interesting. She has actually been in four Broadway shows herself. That is cool even though I never heard of most of the shows. At least half the show she has been in are straight plays, and I am more familiar with musicals. However, because of her connection to the theater, she was able to tell us fascinating stories that we couldn't have heard anywhere else like about the time when an actor walked off stage in the middle of a performance. The tour went by very quickly. I would have enjoyed the opportunity to spend even more time with Prudence Wright Holmes and hear even more stories about life in the theater.

Mom - Prudence Wright Holmes is an actor. She has appeared in numerous movies and episodes of TV shows as well as in four Broadway shows. She is also a licensed New York City tour guide. She offers tours of Historic Lower Manhattan, Central Park, the 5th Avenue shopping district, museums tours as well as tours of many more venues or locations in New York City. She can even design a custom tour to suit your group's interests.

We recently had the opportunity to tour the Broadway Theater District with Prudence. We visited several theaters as well as a few other places in the theater district including Duffy Square where the TKTS and the statue of George M. Cohan are located and The Edison Hotel. Listening to Prudence's insider stories about the theater district and life in the theater was very fascinating. The tour was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend taking one of Prudence's tours especially her Broadway Theater District Tour.
