I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of Unsung America in the Scaredy Cat Giveaway Hop !

Welcome to the Scaredy Cat Giveaway Hop hosted by Mama the Fox

Most of us will never know the scariness of leaving behind everything we have ever known and moving to another country. Plenty of people do it every day in search of a better life. However, that is not always what they find. Despite what some people would have you believe not all immigrants are criminals. Some are trailblazers and heroes. Still, U.S. immigration policies are not always fair and often people are thrown out of this country with very little reason or for the wrong reasons. Unsung America tells the story of some of these trailblazers and heroes and more. For more about this book, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: Unsung America. Enter to win a copy below:

  1. The immigrants I most admire were my parents. They were extremely grateful for the chance to live in the USA, learned English by ear & helped others every chance they could.

    1. That's great. My parents were both born in the US, but my grandfather was an immigrant. Thanks for visiting Says Me Says Mom and for your comment.
