I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of Adventures in Cryptozoology in the Howloween Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Howloween Giveaway Hop
hosted by The Kids Did It and The Mommy Island.

If you see a monster on Halloween that's not so scary. It's probably just somebody in  a costume. What about monsters that appear when it's not Halloween. Do you believe in real monsters like the Loch Ness Monster, Chupacabra, or Big Foot? Many people do. Adventures in Cryptozoology by Richard Freeman is full of alleged eyewitness accounts of encounters with such beasts as these and others. It's the perfect book for the season. For more information about this book, see our previous post Books: Adventures in Cryptozoology  Enter to win a copy below.

Giveaway Dates 10/5 - 10/19

Giveaway Open to Ages 18+ US

  1. Vampires always seem so calculating & sinister. They scare me more than zombies, ghosts..
