I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Ice Cold: An Exhibition of Hip Hop Jewelry

We were given complimentary tickets to the American Museum of Natural History for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Ice Cold: An Exhibition of Hip Hop Jewelry

Where: American Museum of Natural History
             Central Park W. & 79th St.
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

When: Through January 5. 2025

Hip-hop artists have always been known for their jewelry. Now an exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History explores this deep connection between the artists and their jewels and how sizes and styles have changed and evolved as the music has changed and evolved. Numerous items belonging to a wide variety of rappers are on display.

The largest portion of the collection is comprised of pendants and necklaces. They include one of Nicki Minaj's Barbie pendants, Tyler the Creator's bellhop necklace, Drake's Crown Jewel of Toronto pendant, and much more. Other items of jewelry on display include Cardi B's nipple covers, Beyonce's nail covers, various artists' grills, a few crowns, and more.

The exhibit even extends to the walls which are adorned with pictures of many of the artists decked out in some of their favorite pieces.  All in all, it's an overwhelmingly dazzling display of jewels.
