My True Love is a modern fairytale. It is the story of a witch searching for her perfect fairytale prince to fall in love with like in the storybooks. This off-beat musical teaches some important lessons about true love, being yourself, and more. Although some parts of the show are kind of cringey, like a suggestive song about planting begonias, they are most likely to go over the heads of the youngest audience members. The show is lively, colorful, and fast-paced with a slew of mostly upbeat although not especially memorable songs.
