I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Just Another Day is a slow and thoughtful play about a couple living in some kind of a retirement home or hospital who literally meet anew on the grounds of the facility every day. The relationship between the two is intensely sweet and yet, also incredibly sad as they engage in the most vivid conversations about long-ago movies and yet can barely remember who they are let alone each other from day to day.  It reminds us of the vagaries of memory and how old age and disease grievously intensify the issue. The pair are brilliantly played by Patty McCormack and Dan Lauria. Lauria also wrote the show.
