I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Movies: Christopher Robin and The Age of Summer

We may have been given access to a screener of one or more of the below mentioned movies for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed are our own.

Me - Today I am recommending  the movie, Christopher Robin. It was a good movie. It was about Christopher  Robin the character in the Winnie the Pooh books, who  in this movie is all grown up Winnie the Pooh was looking for his friends and ended up finding Christopher Robin instead so Christopher Robin had to take him back to the Hundred Acre Woods and all kinds of crazy things happen. The movie was really funny. It reminded me of when I was little, and I read the Winnie the Pooh books. It made me feel good and happy. Before I saw the movie, I thought it was either going to be good and cute and sweet or really stupid. It turned out to be cute and sweet. It was  a very heartwarming movie, and I really enjoyed it.

Mom - Today I am recommending Age of Summer. Age of Summer is a coming of age story about a boy who moves to the beach and becomes part of a group of kids learning to be lifeguards. It is about making friends and fitting in and becoming interested in girls and everything that is a part of growing up. Although in some ways, this movie is a typical movie of this genre, in other ways it is surprising and doesn't always move along like you think it will. However, what most sets this movie apart is the beautiful beach and amazing surfing scenes. The movie was completely shot on Los Angeles' South Bay beaches and all the kids in the movie are experienced surfers and did their own surfing. Age of Summer is being released in theaters and digitally on Friday September 7.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
