Me & Mom - The current exhibit at the New York Transit Museum Annex is Celebrating 25 Years of Poetry in Motion. It is all about poems on the subway. Since 1992, the MTA has been displaying posters of poems or excerpts from poems in New York City subways. Walt Whitman, Shel Silverstein, Gertrude Stein and Emily Dickinson are just a small fraction of the poets whose works have been displayed on subway walls. To date, over 200 poems or excerpts from poems have been presented. A selection of these poems is now on exhibit at the New York Transit Museum Gallery Annex and Store at Grand Central Station. The exhibit is not very big so its easy to go through in a small amount of time. There is no fee for visiting the exhibit. If you really like poetry, you will very much enjoy the exhibit. However, even if you don't you can still enjoy the illustrations, and there's a good chance you will find at least one poem you'll recognize and/or like.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
