I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday - Malapert Love

We received complimentary tickets to Malapert Love for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Malapert Love

Where: The Tank
             312 W. 36th St.
             New York, NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 18 and Up

When: Through November 9, 2025

Malapert Love is a Shakespearean comedy told through a modern, inclusive lens. Although the story, dialogue, and costumes could come right out of Shakespeare, the show features a gay couple, a lesbian couple, and a mixed-race couple. The plot revolves around unrequited love and a series of mismatched pairs. Predictably, all is sorted out in the end. However, the trip to get there is a joyous one as the story, characters, and performances are all delightful. All in all, it's a fun show that feels both new and familiar at once in the best of ways.
