I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theatre Thursday - The Glitch

We received complimentary tickets to The Glitch for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: The Glitch

Where: The Theater Center
              210 W. 50th St.
              New York, NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 10 and Up

When: Through November 2, 2025

Amy is at a crossroads and contemplating whether she wants to have children, so she visits a lab that is supposed to be able to generate a holographic teenager based on her and her partner's DNA. However, what is generated instead is the spirit of her actual future child. Although this may sound exciting and timely if you are looking for a futuristic story centered on the fast-changing technology of our modern world, with a particular focus on AI, you may be disappointed. While it does have those elements, the gist of the story is more about the personal connection between the characters of Amy and Wyatt, the reclusive owner of the lab.  It is more of a story about the past than the future. It is about redemption and forgiveness, and reconciling one's past. Accordingly, if you are more interested in the human angle, you are more likely to enjoy it.
