Welcome to the Glitz and Glam Giveaway Hop
hosted by Mama the Fox
Women are more than just glitz and glam. They can be fiesty
feminist heroines. They can be rulebreakers, they can be
changemakers, and so much more. Comic books don't have
to be about fictional heroes. Super heroes don't have to be
men. TidalWave Comics has brought together all these ideas as
the basis for their series Female Force.
This series of comic books spotlights important women that
changed (or are changing the world). Women covered in this series so far includes Ellen De Generes, Anne Rice, Dolly Parton, Hilary Clinton and more. For more about
this series see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: TidalWave Comics Female Force Series. You can also learn more about this series and other TidalWave Comic Books and graphic
novels by visiting tidalwavecomics.com Enter to win two Female Force comics books of your choice

I see they have a lot of wonderful and inspiring women. But I would love to see them do a comic on Maya Angelou. How can you say you have showcased prominent and influential female authors and not include her in the list.
ReplyDeleteYes, she would definitely be a good choice. Thanks for visiting Says Me Says Mom and for your comment.
