I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday - Strings Attached

We were given complimentary tickets to Strings Attached for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Strings Attached

Where: Theater Row
             410 W. 42nd St.
             New York, NY

Who: Teens and Up

When: October 1, 2022

If you loved The Big Bang Theory for the science, you will really enjoy this story in which three scientists en route to London by train to see a play discover a theory of the Big Bang. Otherwise, you may get a little lost at times. However, there is more to the show than that and if you enjoy romantic stories, you still may enjoy this show as there is a love triangle of three scientists at its center. It is also about the randomness of life. It is refreshingly unpredictable, and there is a surprising twist in the second act.

Bonnie Black and Russell Saylor definitely steal the show. They are quite amusing in a variety of roles. They also add a much-neated lightness into the proceedings which otherwise tend to get too bogged down in the science and other things. The show is loosely based on a true story.
