I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

On That Day in Amsterdam is the story of Kevin and Sammy who after a one-night stand in Amsterdam only have one day to spend together before they go their separate ways.  Aside from the actors playing Kevin and Sammy, the cast consists of three other actors who serve as narrators as well as playing a variety of small roles including a houseboat owner, tourists, Anne Frank, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and more.  Their presence invigorates the play because it tends to get bogged down in a sense of hopelessness when the two main characters are just interacting together. After a day spent with these two you know about as much about them as they know about each other which is not much at all, but you are left with a lot of questions. The show is interestingly staged with the entire stage behind a giant screen which is not only cleverly used for projections but seems to be a metaphor for this moment in time existing between these two people in a bubble outside of the rest of life.

And that's our view. Tune in Sunday for this week's Sunday Scoop
