I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Books; Her Daughter's Secret and Say It Now

Today we are recommending Her Daughter's Secret by Lisa Timoney. Filled with grief and feelings of guilt over the disappearance of her troubled teenage daughter, Immy, several years before, Bea pours all her love into taking care of her young niece whose father is working overseas. When Immy suddenly returns and Bea is expected to choose between her daughter and her niece family secrets come out, and it changes everything.

This is a gripping family saga with a lot of surprising twists and turns. Whenever you think you know what is really going on with this family, another revelation is made that changes everything. The story is exciting. The book is full of great characters. All in all, it is a very absorbing book.

Today we are recommending Say It Now by Sheryl Richert Belul. This book is filled with creative ways to show your loved ones that you care about them. From love lists to gift jars to specially recorded audio and video messages, there are so many ways to share your love for the people in your life in creative ways without spending a lot of money. You don't have to wait for a special occasion to use one of the ideas in this book either. Anytime is a great time to show people how much you care so get some great ideas for starting now by picking up this book. The book is even full of video links to further inspire you in your quest to appreciate and spread joy to the people in your life. If you are looking for simple and unique ways to say I love you or even just I am thinking about you or I care about you, you are definitely going to want to get this book.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
