I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

After living through a pandemic which forced us all to hole up in our own homes for months, you may think you want to avoid even the hint of anything dystopian in your entertainment. However, Steven Fechter's The Memory Exam is definitely worth seeing. This is show about a world where the minute senior citizens show any signs of memory loss they become expendable, What makeis it even scarier is that during the height of the pandemic, there were actually people that felt this way. There attitude was that it didn't matter if the pandemic was killing off a bunch of older people they were all going to die anyway.

This show takes that idea to the extreme, but the scary thing is that the way thinks have been going in the world and in this country in particular you don't know what is going to happen next. Do we really want to live in a world where even people are expendable? Hopefully not, and hopefully this show will serve as wakeup call and remind us of what could happen if we take things too far.

And that's our view. Tune in Saturday for Still More Theater Saturday.
