I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Buddha U and Goodnight Dorm Room are two new books that are great for students who are new to college and/or those who will be starting college soon. Buddha U is a book of mindfulness lessons to teach students how to cope with just about everything they may face in their college career. Goodnight Dorm Room is a book full of advice told in a fun rhyming manner that is like a cross between Goodnight Moon and a Dr. Seuss book. For more about these books, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: Buddha U and Goodnight Dorm Room. 1. When I was in college, one of my professors let us all know that we would need to work really hard to get jobs in our field, because jobs were becoming limited. I'm glad I took his advice, because I'm one of the few in my class to actually get a job in our field.
