I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To Go Wednesday Kusama: Cosmic Nature at the New York Botanical Garden

We were given complimentary tickets for review purposes to the Kusama: Cosmic Nature exhibit at the New York Botanical Garden. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Kusama: Cosmic Nature

Where: New York Botanical Garden
              2900 Southern Blvd
              Bronx, NY

Who: All ages

When: Through October 31, 2021

Me - The Kusama: Cosmic Nature exhibit at the New York Botanical Gardens was nice. It was mostly made up of big colorful statues. They were very unique. They were cool! There was at least one that was so big you could walk under it.

There was a room of flowers but it was mostly if not all flower stickers. There were a lot of stickers the room was completely covered with them. When you walked into the room, they gave you a sticker to place there, but it was so full of stickers already that it was hard to find an empty place to stick it. There were also big flower statues in the water they were pretty. There were a lot of real flowers too. They were also pretty. There was a lot to see at the Kusama: Cosmic Nature exhibit. It was fun to visit.

Mom - Yayoi Kusama is a Japanse artist. Currently, some of her fun contemporary works are on display at the New York Botanical Garden as part of the exhibit Kusama: Cosmic Nature. The exhibit consists mostly of giant colorful outdoor sculptures, but there are some quirky indoor exhibits as well. Dancing Pumpkin is a giant sculpture that you can walk underneath. There is a sculpture that looks like a giant colorful sun. There are trees wrapped in pink fabric covered with white polka dots. There is a mirrored room. These are only a few of the whimsical creations that are part of this charming exhibit.

The New York Botanical is open from Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A vaccine is required to visit the Botanical Garden. A mask is required to visit any indoor exhibits. The Kusama: Cosmic Nature exhibit will be open through October 31 only. For more information visit or to purchase tickets, visit www.nybg.org/event/kusama.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
