I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of the book Maiden Voyages in the Falling Into Leaves Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Falling Into Leaves Giveaway Hop hosted by MamatheFox

Imagine a time when there were no airlines and all overseas voyages had to be taken by ocean liner. That is the focus of Sian Evan's book, Maiden Voyages. This historical work of nonfiction specifically focuses on the women who worked on these giant ocean liners. What would make anyone want to pursue this type of work, what was it like working on these magnificent ships,  and who were some of the specific women in the field are only a few of the things you can learn by reading this very informative book. Evans does a great job of extremely comprehensively covering her topic. Besides, after a year and a half of the pandemic, if you're still not ready or not able to travel yourself, perhaps being able to at least read a book about travel  might just be the next best thing.
