I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go-Wednesday - Tour Noir: A Dame to Guide For

We were given a complimentary Tour Noir for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Tour Noir: A Dame to Guide For

Where: Tour Starts at Hanover Square

Who: Tweens and Up

Me - Tour Noir  was fun. It was very unique. It was completely unlike any other tour I've ever been on.   There were two guides and they were acting out a story as we toured around. It was like a tour and a show in one.  I really enjoyed the combination of the two.  Just because there was a story to it doesn't mean the tour wasn't informative. I still learned quite a lot on the tour as well although I am sure I won't remember it well. We visited quite a lot of places although none of them stood out more than any other. I really enjoy the opportunity to experience something completely different like this.

Mom - Tour Noir is more than just a tour it's a complete theatrical experience. As you travel around downtown New York, you'll enjoy the story of Jason Thompson and his ex-fiancee, Veronica as they search for her missing husband. Don't for one minute think that adding a storyline waters down the tour at all or makes it less informative or comprehensive. In fact, the opposite is true. Tour Noir is one of the most comprehensive tours we have ever attended and covers quite a lot of different areas of downtown Manhattan including the Wall Street area, Chinatown, Little Italy, and more. You will learn quite a lot about New York's history on this tour. However, you will learn it in a completely original and exciting way. If you enjoy both history and theater, you are definitely not going to want to miss this tour!

And that's our view. For more information or to book a Tour Noir, visit www.tournoirnyc.com.

Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
