New York, NY
Who: All ages
There is so much to do at New York City's iconic Rockefeller Center. Here are just a few ideas.
1) Have a meal or a snack in one of the many restaurants. Available choices range from fancier (and more expensive places) where you can sit down and order to chains like Chipotle and Ben and Jerry's.
2) Shop in one of the many stores. From clothing to jewelry to New York souvenirs you can find it all here even the famous FAO Toy store which moved from its original location and reopened here.
3) Take a tour. Available tours include a general Rockefeller Center Tour and an NBC Studio Tour. For more about the latter, see our previous post Where-To-Go Wednesday - NBC Studio Tour
4) See the view from the Top of the Rock. For more see our previous post, Where-To-Go Wednesday - The Top of the Rock
5) Attend a taping of a TV show. You can apply for tickets to many shows here 1iota.com.
6) Walk around and view some of the beautiful art on display both inside the buildings and out.
7) Learn about fire safety in a fun way by visiting the FDNY Fire Zone. For more see our previous post Where-To-Go Wednesday - FDNY Fire Zone
8) Go ice skating. This activity is only available seasonally. To book tickets, visit www.rockefellercenter.com/buy-tickets/#the-rink
