I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

             New York, NY

Warrior Sisters of Wu is an exciting new show by Damon Chua that combines  Jane Austen's beloved Pride and Prejudice with the Chinese epic historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Here the sisters are fierce warriors poised to defend their homeland and their potential paramours are military men. The show is both delightfully amusing and sweetly romantic with some great fight choreography thrown in as well.

Kim Wuan is terrific as the feisty heroine, Qing, who only wants the opportunity to fight among the men. Nancy Ma is charming in the role of her much more laidback sister, Wan. They have a nice chemistry with each other as well as with their respective romantic partners, David Lee Huynh as Sun Ce and Vin Kridakorn as Zhou Yu. They are joined by Michael C. Liu as the girls' compassionate father and Dinh James Doan who is equally hilarious in a couple of different roles. All in all, it's a lovely and quite enjoyable show.
