I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

More Theater Monday - Broadway Night at Wonderland Dreams

What:
Broadway Night at Wonderland Dreams

Where: 529 Fifth Ave.
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

When: This event took place on July 10. 2023

Wonderland  Dreams is artist, Alexa Meade's recreation of the world of Alice in Wonderland. Recently, the first Broadway Night event was held at the venue. During the event, the artist painted the faces of three Broadway Stars making them into human works of art. The actors featured in the event were Brian Stokes Mitchell of Man of La Mancha, Ragtime, and more; Eden Espinosa of Wicked, Brooklyn, and more; and Hailee Kaleem Wright of Six, Paradise Square, and more. Other celebrities attended the event as well including Ms. Wright's current Six castmates.

In addition to viewing the celebrity painting, guests had plenty of time to explore the space themselves and take pictures. There were lots of painted props and costumes on hand for anyone who wanted to become part of the painting themselves.  There was even free pizza and drinks available for all.

The next Broadway Night at Wonderland Dreams will take place on Monday, August 21, 2023. For more information visit https://broadwaywonderland.rsvpify.com. For more information about Wonderland Dreams in general, visit www.wonderlanddreams.com

    1. It was not a show. It was more of an event but it was fun. Thanks for visiting Says Me Says Mom and your comment.
