I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Who: All ages

Me - Ultimate Food Tours Famous Jewish Foods of New York Tour featured several different foods that are highly associated with Jewish culture. Along with getting to taste the foods, you get to learn a lot about the history of the food.  Although I have been on many food tours previously, this was one of my favorites.

It was one of the only food tours I've been on where I liked all of the food. My favorite foods on the tour were a bagel with lox and cream cheese and a black and white cookie. Both of them reminded me of my grandparents because I eat those foods at my grandparent's house lot.

Aside from the food, the tour guide, Scott, was really nice and fun to talk to which really enhanced the experience and added to the enjoyment of the tour. I really hope to get to tour with him again.

Mom - You don't have to be Jewish to enjoy Ultimate Food Tour's Famous Jewish Food Tours. Most New York City food tours are either about the food history of a particular area of the city or about the best places to get a particular kind of food in the area. This tour, on the other hand, is more about the history of the foods themselves and how those foods actually came to be.

You will probably be familiar with some if not all of the foods covered on this tour. Tastings include bagels and hotdogs. However, familiarity with these foods does not make them any less delicious to sample.

There also may not be as many total food tastings on this tour as on some others. However, other tours often offer much smaller samples than the extremely generous samples offered on this tour. You definitely won't leave hungry.
