The 25th annual Broadway Barks event took place this past Saturday, July 8, 2023. Bernadette Peters and the late Mary Tyler Moore founded the annual charity event to spark pet adoption in 1999. As usual, the event was hosted by Ms. Peters with Randy Rainbow as this year's co-host. Shows represented included Wicked, Here Lies Love, Some Like It Hot and even the recently closed Leopoldstadt and many more. Participants included Arielle Jacobs, Colton Ryan, Jason Alexander, Carol Kane, Justin Cooley and many more. Victoria Clark and Donna Murphy even brought their own rescue dogs and shared their adoption stories. A good time was had by all and hopefully, a lot of needy pups (and maybe even a few kittens) received forever homes and loving families.
