I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

  1. I met my husband when I was visiting my grandmother in Minnesota. She lived next door to my husbands aunt. He was in college and loved photography so he asked his aunt to ask me if he could take pictures of me. I agreed. When he came to pick me up it was love at first sight. I went back to California and we wrote cards and letters for a year and then he moved out to California. This December we will be celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary....Love Is Grand!

  2. It wasn't sweet... lol. His dad is my mechanic and saw him at the garage and couldn't get my eyes off him. I lived 3 houses next to his dad and my mom had just shut down her store and we were rearranging the garage. He offered to help and later that night we cruised around and talked... it's been 2 yrs as of July 22nd!

  5. I meet my hubby when I was in 8th grade and he was in eleventh grade. I guess you could say we stalked each other until we finally meet. Long story short we dated through school and got married 4 years later. God has been good too us and faithful some 30 plus years later. To Him I give all the glory.
