I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday: Gangsters and Ghosts Tour

We were given a complimentary Gangsters and Ghosts tour for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Gangsters and Ghosts Tour

Where: Starts at 24 Mulberry Street

Who: Teens and Up

Despite its name, the Gangsters and Ghosts Tour is not quite evenly divided between the two topics. The majority of the tour focuses on gangsters. That doesn't make the tour any less interesting, but if you are more interested in hearing about ghosts you may want to take a different tour. The gangster portion of the tour, on the other hand, is extremely thorough. It specifically covers Irish gangs, Chinese gangs, and the Mafia with the majority of the focus on the latter. A brief overview of each of these gangs is given and locations are visited which relate to them. It is more of an auditory tour than a visual tour because the majority of the locations visited are not at all the same as they were during the events relayed. Therefore, if you are in very visual person, you may not enjoy it as much. However, if you are a very auditory person, and you love listening to fascinating stories especially those that involve crime, you will enjoy it very much. Due to the subject matter being discussed, it is obviously not a very good tour for young children, but it is fine for teens and maybe even tweens that do not scare easily.

And that's our view.

Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
