I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Welcome to the Hallohop Giveaway Hop hosted by Savings in Seconds

Halloween is a great time for a book about Pirates so here at Says Me Says Mom we are giving away a copy of Henry Hunter and the Cursed Pirates. This book is the second in the Henry Hunter series which revolves around Henry Hunter, a 12 year old millionaire genius and his friend, Dolf and their adventures. We were sent this book by mistake, and my daughter had no interest in reading it so I do not know much more about it. For more about this book, visit www.amazon.com/Henry-Hunter-Cursed-Pirates. 2. This looks like a great book for middle-grade readers! My students love to read about adventures, and pirates are always a hot topic.

My daughter loved homemade costumes. One year she went as the Loch Ness Monster. So fun.

  11. The best costume I ever made was when my son wanted to be a werewolf. He has a dress shirt and we cut slits in it and sewed in some red fur. When I was done and he put it on, it looked fantastic.
