I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me- Forbidden Broadway was a fun show. It's a spoof of all of the shows currently running on Broadway as well as a few older ones. I found most of the jokes to be pretty funny, but at least a few of them were a bit too degrading for my taste. If you stay up-to-date with the currently running Broadway productions,  then you will be able to enjoy this show even if you haven't seen all of them, however, if you are unfamiliar with the most recent Broadway season and its music, you may not have such a great time at Forbidden Broadway. Over all, if you are looking for an entertaining night full of poking fun at Broadway this show is for you.

Mom - Forbidden Broadway has returned to Off Broadway for the first time in five years with an all new hilarious show. This time around the show covers not only the musicals from the most recent Broadway season but Broadway icons like Bette Midler, Hal Prince and more as well as Broadway related TV (Fosse/Verdon) and movies (Judy). The five member cast which includes Joshua Turchin, who at 12 years old has written a musical himself, does a terrific job taking on a variety of roles. Although not everyone will enjoy every joke, over all the show is very amusing. It's not really a good show for young children, but its fine for teenagers and those that love Broadway will definitely want to see it. Although you don't have to be a Broadway fanatic to enjoy the show, it helps if you at least have enough of a familiarity with it to really get full enjoyment of the show. All in all, if you are  looking for a show that is just lighthearted and fun, this show is a good choice.

And that's our view.
