Penn & Teller are probably two of the most well-known magicians around. However, this does not necessarily mean they are two of the most exciting magicians around. Their tricks (at least in their live shows) do not seem very original. You feel like you've seen most of them or some version of them before whether in their television show or in some other magicians's show.
Despite this, their shows are still incredibly entertaining. They are so full of humor that it is like seeing a comedy show and a magic show in one. The pair's chemistry and connection, even without Teller ever saying a word, is completely off the charts incredible as it should be after 48 years of working together. Plus, even if the tricks don't necessarily seem fresh that doesn't mean that you know how they are done. For all these reasons, it is still definitely worth seeing Penn & Teller live.
