What: The Golden Cage

Who: Recommended for Ages 6 -9
The Golden Cage is a family-friendly musical about two birds on opposite sides of a golden cage each of whom wants what the other has. The show only runs about 80 minutes, but it feels longer. Therefore, it may be more suitable for slightly older children rather than very young children whose attention spans are shorter. The music is nice enough, but not very memorable. The story does have some good lessons about being careful what you wish for and not really knowing what another's life is like when you are not in their shoes. However, the plot seems too thin to merit a whole music. and the show is not likely to appeal as much to teens or adults.

I love that you love live staged shows. I have one daughter that loves them as much as me. We always go together.
