Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players
Saturday December 10 at 11:00 AM
Tickets are $17 ($14 for members)

This twice GRAMMY-nominated artist dishes out intelligent and whimsically rocking music for kids and their parents. As People magazine notes, the music is "on your feet fun and laugh-out-loud funny.” Bodies spring to their feet and rush the stage; jumping, dancing and bouncing off each other like bumper cars, all participating in the kiddie mosh pit found at nearly every Justin Roberts concert. With a style compared to Elvis Costello and Green Day, Justin and his band are an audience favorite year after year. Justin is celebrating the release of his acoustic new album Lemonade.

The Humans, will play its final Broadway performance on January 15, 2016 at its third New York home, the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, after its year-long, smash hit run on Broadway and fourteen weeks Off Broadway.

In November, 2017, The Humans will kick off its coast-to-coast National Tour at Seattle Repertory Theatre, before moving on to engagements in top markets across the United States. The tour will feature the entire creative team from the Broadway production, led by Tony Award winning director Joe Mantello and including Tony Award winning scenic designer David Zinn, costume designer Sarah Laux, lighting designer Justin Townsend, and sound designer Fitz Patton. A complete touring schedule, as well as casting, will be announced shortly.

The angst, anguish and amity of the American middle class are first coaxed – then shoved – into the light in this uproarious, hopeful, and heart-breaking play that takes place over the course of a family dinner on Thanksgiving.  Breaking with tradition, Erik Blake (Birney) has brought his Pennsylvania family to celebrate and give thanks at his daughter’s apartment in lower Manhattan. As darkness falls outside the ramshackle pre-war duplex, and eerie things start to go bump in the night, the Blake clan’s deepest fears and greatest follies are laid bare.  Our modern age of anxiety is keenly observed, with humor and compassion, in this new American classic.

Tickets for The Humans ($39 - $145) are available by visiting the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre box office Monday – Saturday10am – 8:30pm and Sunday Noon – 6pm; online at Telecharge.com, or by calling 212 239 6200.
