Saturday Special - At This Performance

In November, we had the opportunity to attend our second At This Performance, a concert of Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates. At this version of At This Performance which was held on November 7, we saw the following performers:

Maddie Shea Baldwin- Bright Star understudy

Stephen Cerf - Jersey Boys understudy

Max Chernin - Bright Star understudy

Jeremiah James - Robber Bridegroom understudy

Freddie Kimmel - Cagney understudy

Claudia Yanez - Spamilton understudy

Remy Zaken - Dear Evan Hansen  understudy

 All of these performers were very talented. We would be happy to see any of them performing in a show. There actually have been performers who have appeared in one of the At This Performance concerts who later went on to star in a Broadway show including Alex Brightman who recently ended his run as the original Dewey Finn in School of Rock.

If you live in or plan on travelling to the New York area and you want a chance to see some of these talented performers strut their stuff, the Spring 2017 season of At This Performance will run on Sunday March 5, Monday March 20, and Sunday April 2.  Who knows, maybe you'll get to see the next breakout star!
