I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Great Shows for Kids Currently Playing in New York City

Me- Here are five great shows for kids currently playing in New York City.
1) School of Rock - This show in which a group of kids form a rock band with their substitute teacher is a kid's fantasy and kids are sure to be inspired by these talented kids. For more information visit schoolofrockthemusical.com.
2)  Aladdin - This story based on the hit Disney movie is a sure bet with kids. For more information visit aladdinthemusical.com

3) The Lion, The Witch and  The Wardobe - A fun show based on the book. Minimal props and sets don't take away from enjoyment of this show. For more information visit stlukestheatre.com
4) Blue Man Group - Not a show for very young children, but older kids would enjoy this completely unique experience. For more information visit https://www.blueman.com/.

5) Stomp - Kids that love to make noise will appreciate this show where music is made using all kinds of interesting objects. For more information visit www.stomponline.com.

6) The Lion King - Another hit show based on a Disney movie but presented in a completely original manner which includes unique puppetry. For more information visit www.lionking.com.

9) THIS SHOW CLOSED ON JANUARY 1, 2017 Matilda -This show is based on the beloved children's book and movie. Keep in mind that the show is a little darker than the book or movie.
