I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Saturday Special - Upcoming Events for Franklin Square for Spring 2014

Franklin Square, a fun family entertainment park located in Historic Philadelphia is now open for the season.

Saturday, March 22, 11 am – 6 pm: SquareBurger opens for the season.

April
Sunday, April 20, 12 - 2 pm:  The 5th Annual Great Egg Hunt – he Easter Bunny has left lots of eggs in the Square! Kids can join the search. Pre-registration is required and begins at 10:30 am. FREE for children 10 and under.

 Also at Franklin Square you will find:

 Philly Mini Golf: Putt around the city on this Philadelphia-themed miniature golf course!  $9 adults/$7 children (3-12), FREE for children under 2.
   Parx Liberty Carousel: A zebra, a lion, an eagle, horses and more!  Hop on this spectacular all-American style carousel with hometown racehorse heroes Afleet Alex and Smarty Jones.  $3 per person (adult or child), FREE for children under 2.
 Playgrounds: Slides, swings, and spinners…bring the kids and enjoy two playgrounds! Open year-round and free.

  The Pavilion in Franklin Square – Rent this all-season, climate-controlled building for parties, family reunions, and corporate or special events.  On nice days, open the doors for stunning views of the fountain. 

Franklin Square is also available for birthday parties, special events, and group outings!
