I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Hershey's Chocolate World Times Square

What: Hershey's Chocolate World Times Square

Where: 48th and Broadway
             New York, New York

Who: All ages

Our view: Although it is not an entertainment attraction like Hershey's Chocolate World in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Hershey's Chocolate World Times Square is still a fun place to go especially if you like chocolate.  It is not quite as big as M&M World located nearby, but here you can find any just about any kind of Hershey's product you could want. The store even features The Original Automatic and Gravitational Chocolate Machine which allows you to create your own mix of candy. You can also make personalized Hershey's kisses. Even the outside of the store is fun to look at with its different kinds of lights, signs and props including giant replicas of many of Hershey's famous products including Mounds, York Peppermint Patty and Hershey's Cocoa. It even includes 4 steam engines. There is also a scrolling marquee where guests can have their names or special messages put up in lights. Hershey's is the only place in Times Square which offers this. Of course, there is a cost associated with seeing your name or message in lights although at least at one time it was minimal approximately $5.00 or so. We are not sure if the cost has gone up. The down side of Hershey's Chocolate World Times Square is that it is kind of small and at times it can get really crowded and claustrophobic even. However, it you like Hershey's Chocolate it is definitely worth stopping by for the free samples they give out even if for no other reason. And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for another Talking Topic.
