I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

More Theater Monday - El Mago Pop

We were given complimentary tickets to El Mago Pop for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: El Mago Pop

Where: Ethel Barrymore Theatre
             243 W. 47th St.
             New York, NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 3 and Up

When: Through August 27. 2023

Me - I had never heard of El Mago Pop before we attended his show on Broadway. His show was really fun! It was really unique. A lot of the tricks that he did were not the kind that you see at every magic show. He was one of the best magicians I have ever seen. I don't want to say too much about the show because I don't want to give anything away, but I would highly recommend seeing this it before it disappears!

Mom - El Mago Pop is Antonio Diaz, a talented young magician who is taking the world by storm. He has now arrived on Broadway for an extremely limited run of only 18 performances. If you enjoy magic, and you live in or near or are going to be in the vicinity of New York City in the next week or so, you are definitely going to want to see this show.

I have had the privilege of seeing many amazing magicians in my life who have performed a wide variety of unbelievable tricks but El Mago Pop just may be the best of all. He's that good. The incredible array of illusions in his repertoire is unlike anything I have ever seen before. Even when he does a trick that seems like it might be somewhat familiar, he puts a unique spin on it and makes it his own.  You are definitely not going to want to miss this absolutely jaw-dropping show!
