Ginuwine, known for his smash hit "Pony" and chart-topper "Anxious," will perform all of his hits at bergenPAC in Englewood, New Jersey, on Sunday, August 20th at 8 PM.
Ginuwine has released several multi-platinum and platinum-selling albums and singles, becoming one of R&B's top artists during the late 1990s and early 2000s. His first single, the 1996 "Pony," peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and showcased his smooth vocals- the song since has gone viral on Tik Tok and reignited new fans. After a successful solo career, Ginuwine formed TGT, a supergroup with R&B stars Tyrese and Tank in 2000, where they achieved great success with hit singles "Please Don't Go," "I Need," and "Next Time Around." Ginuwine was nominated for a Grammy for TGT's R&B album "Three Kings." To this day, Ginuwine continues to top the charts with songs like "So Anxious," "Difference," "In Those Jeans," and "The Best Man I Can Be" with Case, Tyrese, and R.L.

EARLY CAREER PROFESSIONALS
Applications are now being accepted for the third annual Black Theatre Coalition • Broadway Across America (BTC•BAA) Fellowship program. This program takes place over 14 weeks each spring semester and is offered for Black-identifying undergraduate college juniors/seniors, recent graduates, and early career professionals who are looking to learn the inner-workings of the commercial theater business and Broadway touring industry.
This intensive educational program begins with weeks of in-depth learning in one of the following Broadway Across America offices: New York City, Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Cincinnati, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Louisville, Minneapolis, Ottawa, Salt Lake City, and Seattle, where fellows will learn about topics like Producing, Presenting, Ticketing, Marketing Strategy, Operations, and more. To close out the semester, the Fellows will travel to New York City for a week of networking, on-the-job learning, and to see Broadway shows.
Students pursuing degrees in fields like Arts Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations/Communications, Theater Studies, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Pre-Law, Arts Ticketing/Sales/Operations, and other fields of study that relate to commercial theater presenting are welcome in the program. A variety of perspectives, backgrounds, abilities, and opinions are very much encouraged to apply.

Bloomingdale School of Music, in partnership with the New York Philharmonic, presents the third annual Practice Challenge: Bridge to Creativity from August 21-25, 2023. In an effort to bridge students' learning from the BSM Summer Session, the program will feature prompts from New York Philharmonic Teaching Artists to build creativity through practice. For five days, students from BSM will receive a daily practice challenge video prompt from a New York Philharmonic Teaching Artist on the discussion board software Padlet. Students will then practice, record, and post their own video responses for daily feedback. In addition to posting, students are encouraged to comment and respond to each other's videos.
Practice mentors will encourage students to:
- engage in focused practice
- set attainable goals and maintain a practice routine
- give and receive constructive feedback from a community of others working toward the same goal
- use available tech to aid in their practice
- allow students to return to their instruments and music stands between their summer activities and vacations and the start of the school year

ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 20
Hadestown will partner with TDF, the not-for-profit service organization for the performing arts, to present the first-ever Autism-friendly performance of the Tony Award-winning production on Sunday, August 20th at 1:00PM ET the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W 48th St). Tailored for families with members on the Autism spectrum or with other developmental or cognitive disabilities, this special matinee is sponsored by Thomas M. Neff.
To create an autism-friendly setting, the show will be performed in a supportive environment for children and adults diagnosed with autism or other sensory sensitivities and their families. Slight adjustments will be made to the production, where possible, including the reduction of jarring sounds, lights, and fog focused into the audience. In the theatre lobby, there are staffed break areas in case audience members need to leave their seats during the performance.
Tickets were offered by lottery to families with children and adults on the autism spectrum who have previously attended TDF Autism Friendly Performances on Broadway. Inspired by Alexandra Shiva’s Peabody Award-winning documentary of the same name, the musical – which features book and lyrics by Rebekah Greer Melocik (she/her), music by Jacob Yandura (he/him), music direction by Lily Ling (she/her), choreography by Mayte Natalio (she/her), and direction by Sammi Cannold (she/her), all making their Broadway debuts – begins previews on November 15, 2023, and celebrates its Opening Night on December 10, 2023. City Opera’s 2023 Bryant Park series concludes with Romeo and Juliet. Gounod’s perennial favorite brings Shakespeare’s play to life through some of the most beautiful music in the French repertoire. City Opera Music Director Maestro Constantine Orbelian will be at the helm, accompanied by members of the City Opera Orchestra.
Attendees may bring their own food or purchase from on-site food and beverage vendors near the Lawn. At most performances, attendees can purchase food from a rotating line-up of local NYC vendors curated by Hester Street Fair. At all performances, Stout NYC offers cheese and charcuterie boards as well as a selection of beer, wine, frosé, and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. COVID-19 vaccinations and masks are not currently required but Bryant Park will continue to monitor and follow updated New York City and New York State COVID-19 guidelines throughout the summer as necessary.
