I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Broadway Shows to Look Forward to This Season

The new Broadway season is upon us and here is a look at some of the shows that will soon be opening:


1776 - This revival of the historic musical about the signing of the Declaration of Independence gives the show a unique spin with a cast that includes multiple representations of race, ethnicity, and gender; they identify as female, transgender, and nonbinary.

Almost Famous - This show is based on the 2000 film about a high school boy traveling around with a rock band in order to write about them for Rolling Stone. Although the show's score is made up of mostly of all-new songs if you are a fan of the movie you will be glad to know that Elton John's Tiny Dancer is still included in the show.

Kimberly Akimbo - This musical about a teenager with a disease that causes her to age rapidly was a hit Off-Broadway last season, and you won't want to miss Victoria Clark and Bonnie Milligan's sure-to-be Tony-nominated performances.
