I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of How Pi Can Save Your Life in the Scaredy Cat Giveaway!

Welcome to the Scaredy Cat Giveaway Hop

hosted by Mama the Fox

Halloween can be a scary time for some.  Some people are just scared of everything, but you can't just crawl in a hole and hide away from the entire world. You have to live your life. The best way to go through life and avoid being afraid all the time is to try to always be prepared for any situation. How Pi Can Save Your Life is a book that covers just that topic. It is sort of tongue-in-cheek and covers such unlikely scenarios as zombie attacks, alien invasions, and spy missions among other things. The mathematical equations for solving the problems presented in the book are very real, however. Accordingly, if you are a math nerd you will love it. On the contrary, if thinking about numbers too much gives you a headache, you might want to avoid it. For more about this book, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: How Pi Can Save Your Life. Enter to win a copy for yourself or your favorite math lover below:
