I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

More Theater Monday - Baipas

We were given free tickets to Baipas for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Baipas

Where: George Street Playhouse
             NBPAC
             11 Livingston Ave.
             New Brunswick, NJ

Who: 16 and Up

When: Through March 20, 2022

When you arrive at the theater and the set looks like a giant empty box, you know you are in for something completely unique and different. However, this show that takes place in some limbo land between life and death may not be everyone's cup of tea. It can be confusing at times as to what exactly is going on, and it is unclear why this particular couple and only this particular couple ends up at this particular place at the same time. The audience is a part of their journey, and we get to know everything and yet nothing about them. It is a dance between these two both literally and figuratively. Even though they only knew each other casually before, they are drawn together because not knowing what will come next they are going to take everything they can from these moments that may be all they have left. That is good lesson to learn after the last couple of years when we have all have hopefully  learned to fully partake in each moment because you never know what is around the corner and when it will all end.

And that's our view. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit georgestreetplayhouse.org/shows/show/baipas
