I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: One Year Gone & Misc.: Go Hang It

We may have been given complimentary copies for review purposes of one or more of the books and/or other products mentioned below. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: One Year Gone

Today we are recommending One Year Gone by Avery Bishop. This is a really exciting thriller that will shake you to your core.  Although you may have your suspicions about where the book is heading and you may even guess some of the aspects of what is going to happen, you will not be able to completely guess the ending until you have read it.  It is a complete shocker. If you are looking for a little light ultimately uplifting book to read, you may want to skip this one. If you enjoy very unpredictable extremely dark books, you may enjoy it.

Misc: Go Hang It

Today we are recommending Go Hang It. Go Hang It has everything you need to hang pictures quickly and easily. One side of the detachable kit has all the hardware you need. The other has a unique marking system and a build-in level. No more using pencils to make measurements and leaving numerous holes in the wall. Just place the frame where you want it, mark it, and hang it. It's done and it's straight.  It's so simple just about anyone can easily learn to use it. If you hang a lot of pictures you are definitely going to want Go Hang It.
