I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Pixar Putt

We were given complimentary tickets to Pixar Putt for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own

What: Pixar Putt

Where: Pier A Battery Park
             22 Battery Place
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

When: Now extended to November 28, 2021

Me: Pixar Putt was a lot of fun. It was a Pixar-themed mini-golf course. There were a lot of cute little buildings and stuff which is my favorite part of mini-golf. The different holes were based on different Pixar movies. There was one that was based on the movie Up and the house actually moved up like it was flying. There was one for the movie Soul which had a piano. You had to play the keys in order to move the ball down near the hole. That was pretty cool! All of the others holes were unique in their own ways too. It was one of the most interesting mini-golf courses I've ever seen.

A  lot of the movies represented reminded me of my childhood. Other ones represented movies that I have never seen. It got me really in the mood to watch Pixar movies. Both to relive the ones I've seen and to watch some that I haven't ever seen that I would like to. All in all, it was a great experience.

Mom - A lot of miniature golf courses these days are just kind of boring. They are literally just like tiny golf courses with nothing interesting about them, but not Pixar Putt. Pixar Putt is one of the most adorable, original, and fun miniature golf courses you could ever visit. Every hole is interesting and exciting to play. Each one is based around a Pixar movie and many if not all are played in a completely unique way.

At the Coco hole, you have to get the ball through the guitar to get it near the hole, at the Soul hole you have to play the big wooden piano keys to send the ball down near the hole, and at the Up hole, you shoot your ball into a miniature house which flies into the air and drops your ball down into the vicinity of the hole. Other Pixar movies represented include classics like Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and Toy Story as well as newer Pixar movies like Luca, Soul and Onward.

Pixar Putt is not just incredibly entertaining.  You also get to relive all your favorite Pixar movies, and you will probably leave wanting to see the ones you haven't seen yet too.  It's about the most fun you can have on a miniature golf course.

And that's our view. For more about Pixar Putt, or to purchase tickets visit www.pixarputt.
