What: A Celebration Aquisitions in Honor of the Morgans' Centennial
Where: Morgan Library and Museum
225 Madison Ave.
New York, NY
Who: All ages
When: Through August 17, 2025
Last year, the Morgan Library and Museum celebrated its hundredth anniversary. Initially known as the Morgan Library, it transferred the private art and literary collection of J. Pierpont Morgan into a public institution open to all. Over the years, numerous other precious works of art, literary treasures, and more were acquired and added to Morgan's initial collection.
In honor of the 100th anniversary, a variety of special purchases and donations were made. Some of these are currently highlighted in this special exhibit. They include objects, works of art, and more related to Leonardo Da Vinci, Edgar Allen Poe, Franz Schubert, and others. This special exhibit is only running through this weekend, so if you are interested in seeing it, you should make plans to do so now!
