I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - American Treasure Tour Museum

We received complimentary tickets to American Treasure Tour Museum for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: American Treasure Tour Museum

Where: 1 American Treasure Way
             Oaks, PA

Who: Recommended for Ages 3 and Up

American Treasure Tour Museum is a pop culture lover's paradise. Every single square inch of space in this generously sized museum is jampacked and completely overflowing with items from the late 1800s through today. You can relive your childhood (and beyond), plus learn about the objects and memorabilia from before your time. There are numerous instruments, toys, records, cars, and countless other things, including signs, statues, animatronics, and more, available on display.

The museum is divided into three sections. There are two walking tours and one tram tour. On the first walking tour, you will see a variety of instruments, mostly player pianos and similar instruments. Plus, there also plenty of toys, records, phones, minatures, and more. If you get overwhelmed by the eyepopping  amount of  incredibly fascinating items on display or tired from all the walking and standing, there is an area with chairs and tables where you can sit and just relax or leaf through one of the available pop culture related books

The second walking tour and the tram tour are related. Many larger objects can be found here, including cars (both real and toy), giant calliopes, and more, as well as commerce-related memorabilia, such as store and restaurant-related signs, mascots statues, and much more. However, there are also still toys and other smaller objects in these sections.

On the tram tour, you'll learn more about some of the objects on display, and also get to listen to some of the calliopes. If you are interested in even more  information about the collection, many of the objects on both walking tours include QR codes you can scan. If you are only interested in a few specific items, you can scan the codes and read the available information immediately. However, if you are a huge fan of popular culture, we recommend taking pictures of the codes, sending them to your email, and scanning them at your leisure.
