I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

More Theater Monday - Kafka

We were given complimentary tickets to Kafka for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Kafka

Where: 59E59 Theaters
             59 E. 59 St.
             New York, NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 13 and Up

When: Through June 29, 2025

Kafka is the story of the esteemed author Franz Kafka, as seen through the eyes of those who loved him best (or didn't), including friends, lovers, critics, and more. The show is Jack Klaff's brilliant tour de force. He not only wrote the show and takes on the role of Kafka himself, but he also plays every other character in the show. Watching it is like witnessing a masterclass in acting as Klaff quickly and convincingly slips in and out of the various characters. With each character, he takes on a different voice and mannerisms, making it easy to differentiate between them. Even if you are not a fan of Franz Kafka and/or his writing, this show is still worth seeing for the amazing artistry of the performance.

And that's our view. For more about Kafka or to purchase tickets, visit www.59e59.org/shows/show-detail/kafka.

Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.
