Jasmine Amy Rogers is an effervescent delight as the squeaky-voiced heroine come to life in this charming new musical. Although the songs may not be that memorable, they're definitely fun. A few notable exceptions are "Where I Wanna Be", the joyous first act closer and "Where Is Betty?" the second act opener, both of which are highlights of the show. However, the latter is more memorable for its unique costumes and choreography than the song itself. Rarely, if ever, have the two been so perfectly aligned. The dancing, in general, is one of the best parts of the show, and if you are a fan of tap dancing, you will particularly enjoy it. Even if some parts of the story don't entirely make sense, the show is just bubbly and joyful and can be enjoyed by almost anyone.
