I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Inside the West Wing: A 25th Anniversary Salute

We were given complimentary tickets to Inside the West Wing: A 25th Anniversary Salute for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Inside the West Wing: A 25th Anniversary Salute

Where: The Paley Center for Media
             25 W. 52nd St
             New York. NY

Who: All ages

When: Through September 8, 2024

The current West Wing exhibit at the Paley Center for Media celebrates the seminal television series in honor of the 25th anniversary of its first airing which will occur later this year. The exhibit is quite comprehensive. It includes props, scripts, costumes and more even a scale model of the set. There are lots of videos to watch too.

There are numerous interactive elements to the exhibit as well. You can have your picture taken at the show's Presidential pressroom podium. You can trace how the actors move along in one of the series' famous walk and talks.  You can take a peek in the Oval Office. Plus there is so much more to do, see, and experience.

The exhibit couldn't have come at a better time as we are now on the brink of the most important election in our country's history. Accordingly, it includes a section encouraging visitors to get involved and even teaches them how to contact their representatives. Thus, not only is the exhibit informative, fun, and a great nostalgia trip for fans of the series, but it also importantly reminds us that we need to pay attention to who would put in the real White House and Congress as well and make sure they are really doing what the majority of the people want.

And that's our view. For more about The West Wing: A 25th Anniversary Salute, to find out about special screenings offered in conjunction with the exhibit, or to purchase a timed ticket to visit, go to www.paleycenter.org/events/2024-west-wing-25

Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
