I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Yes, I Can Say That! is comedian, Judy Gold's one-woman show based on her book Yes, I Can Say That: When They Come for the Comedians, We Are in Trouble. The show is full of her trademark humor, but there also is a lot of seriousness at its center.

She talks about the female comedians who came before her and inspired her like Totie Fields, Joan Rivers, Phyllis Diller, and more. She talks about how sensitive everyone is today and how you have to be careful what you say because you never know when something you say is going to set somebody off and they are going to come after you and that it shouldn't be like that. She talks about a lot more too.

At the heart of it all,  it is about laughter and how important laughter is and how we need to be able to laugh at ourselves. When laughter is censored or what you are allowed to laugh about is censored, it is the beginning of a slippery slope that can only eventually lead to the loss of more and more freedom. All in all, the show is both extremely thought-provoking and a great opportunity to share that most precious commodity - laughter.
